The format is sealed deck. Players build decks with cards from the prerelease pack they have chosen. Players build a deck with a minimum of 40 cards from booster packs received in a special ‘Prerelease Pack’ (featuring the booster packs required plus a themed spindown life counter). The unused cards are considered their sideboard for the tournament, which should last three rounds.

If a player stays for at least one round, they will receive extra two boosters for participating.
