It doesn't seem all that long ago we were eagerly awaiting the 8th edition of Warhammer 40,000 with it's near complete overhaul to the rules. Now, it's time again. This time it's more of a 'tweak' than an overhaul, a sort of 8.25 Edition. There's no denying though that the figures are awesome.
As ever, Games Workshop are making a big deal of the launch of the new edition, with a sort of limited edition 'Indomitus' box set (the white background box seems to be an indicator of a 'premium set'), with loads of optional accessories and promises of awesome models to follow.
The new stuff has an official preorder date of 11th July (this Saturday in fact). But I will take orders over the counter at the shop. With that in mind (and so long distance customers can be prepared), here's the price list:-
Indomitus Box Set: £100
Warhammer 40,000 Core Rulebook: £32
Grand Tournament Pack (aka Chapter Approved): £20
Crusade Journal: £16
Open War Missions Card Pack: £9.60
Battlefield Objective Set: £20
Carry Case: £35
Indomitus: the novel: £14.40

We recently ran a promotion for in-store purchases where an Catachan Colonel was up for grabs. I can announce that the winner is..... Glynn Wilson! Congratulations to Glynn, I'm sure he'll find a way to fit it into his Craftworld army.
Time to sign off. Be careful out there.
